Album: If you LOVE chicken and also want healthier, tastier meat, look at this bird!

This is a photo of a mature Cornish Rock X Broiler/Roaster.

This breed of bird is considered to be "the" meat bird as it is surpasses all others for the quantity and quality of breast meat, with an amazing quality of flavor.

However, virtually none are raised "all-naturally", and they are considered to be "made for commercial operations".

NOT true. Lakeview Farm is so very proud to say that while it is quite difficult and expensive to raise these beautiful, friendly birds naturally, it can be done! They can live outside of commercial operations in cages where they don't have even enough room to stretch a wing once within their 45 day life span. They don't need to be fed steroids and growth hormones to reach supreme quality standards, and they can and do enjoy the sunshine, grass, and sky, just as they deserve to.

Imagine this.....If you were a commercially raised White Cornish Rock Cross bird, from the day that you were born to the day that you were two years old, you would weigh 249 pounds! You'd be prone to having a heart attack just as they are under such circumstances!

We at Lakeview have disregarded the "normal" way to raise these amazing meat birds and any producer who does the same can also provide a better bird. Healthier, more flavorful, and having lived a happier life for not 45 days, but more likely 120-140 days. A short life-span, yes. Quality of life that they deserve and quality of food that you deserve....ABSOLUTELY. Visit www.Time4Eggs.com to learn more. Thanks!
